3 Storied Lone fast food station gutted in Bhaderwah

Bhadarwah, Mar 5:Property worth lakhs were reduced to ashes afer 3 story fast food station was gutted in a massive fire incident at Udrana area of Bhadarwah late last night.

According to reports, A three story building having 3 shops came under mysterious blaze.

After witnessing the fire, locals informed the Police and Fire Tenders, who immediately rushed to the spot and along with locals started the operation to douse the fire, which was spreading very rapidly.

SDPO Bhadarwah Meer Gafoor and SHO Jatinder Singh Rakwal immediately rushed to spot and joined the rescue operation.

After hectic efforts by Police, Fire Tenders and locals the fire was got under control.
Police has taken the cognizance of fire incident and started investigation.

When contacted SHO Bhadarwah Jatinder Singh Rakwal said that no injury or casualty has been reported in the incident and we are ascertaining the cause of fire. However in preliminary investigation, it seems like short circuit.

The shops belongs to Yasir Lone S/O Shoket Ahmed Lone R/O Udrana Bhadarwah.

Owner Yasir Lone said that property worth 70 lakhs reduced to ashes after fire engulfed his 3 shops including Fast Food, Boutique and Paneling Shop.

He demanded that government should compensate the loss as he has borrowed loan from banks to enhance the business.

Meanwhile locals said that the loss can be reduced if water was available in the area. Submain pipes are in almost every inhabited area, but there is no fire hydrants installed here.
They demanded that fire hydrants should be installed in all inhabited areas in Bhadarwah  and fire station should be shifted from Iqbal Colony which is only approachable through lane to an open area.
