Arrangements for Accounts Assistant Examination (Finance) finalized in Poonch

Poonch, Mar 4: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Inder Jeet  today chaired a meeting with concerned departments to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of  OMR based objective type written exam  for Accounts Assistant (Finance) posts being conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rohit Baskotra, General Manager DIC, Dr. Zakir Hussain, CEO Tourism Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Principal Govt. Degree College Poonch, Prof. Mussarat Hussain Shah,  Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, DIO/ALC, Abid Hussain Shah, District Treasury Officer,  Abdul Rashid Doustm,  CMO, District Coordinator, Vikas Panday, Dr.G.A Malik,  EO Municipality Mushtaq Hussain, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain,  Principal and Headmaster of different educational institutions  were present.

Threadbare discussion were held on various issues regarding the examinations including proper space, traffic management plan, Sanitation for exam centre, washroom  and uninterrupted supply of light and water in exam centre OMR packing process, accommodation facilities, provision of vehicles, manpower for the receipt,  dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres, besides proper sensitization of examination centre and all related issues were discussed in detail.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain informed that the examination shall be held on 06 of March 2022 from 12 noon to 2 PM at 22 examination centres in which 5714 aspirants are going to appear in the exam.

The Deputy Commissioner urged upon the Departments to work in coordination and cohesion for conducting the exams smoothly and peacefully and make all the requisite arrangements well in advance.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to provide vehicles for ferrying examination papers from the strong room to the examination centre.

It was informed in the meeting that Mobile phones, Digital watches and other electronic devices would not be allowed inside the exam centre. The candidates would be allowed to carry ball-pens (blue/black), Admit card and Identity proof inside the exam hall.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the CEO Municipality, XEN PDD, and PHE to personally visit all the examination centres, check their requirement and clean all the examination centres properly and provide uninterrupted supply of light and water during the exam.

It was also informed that CCTV cameras shall be installed at each examination centre in advance.

The health officials shall be deployed at each examination centre who shall be responsible for implementation of COVID-19 related advisories and SOPs including availability of hand sanitizers and thermal scanners.

Earlier, the District Coordinator, Vikas Panday also gave  awareness on the latest instructions and circulars issued by SSB for conducting the examination in a fair and transparent manner.
