Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 3 :BJP candidate Dayashankar Singh’s vehicle was allegedly attacked in Ballia in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday night.
The vehicle of Singh, who is contesting from Ballia Sadar seat in the assembly elections, was damaged in stone pelting when he was going to Akhar village. Some also rained blows on the vehicle with lathis.
Police sources here on Thursday said the dispute started after an argument. The attackers broke the window panes of the car and fled.
Police officer Rajkumar Singh said a case has been registered against unknown people. Dayashankar Singh has blamed Samajwadi Party candidate Narad Rai for the attack.
