Online cultural program held in Udhampur Schools

Udhampur, Mar 2: An online cultural program featuring Dogri songs and dance was organised by the Education Department in schools across Udhampur district.

The program was moderated by Zonal Incharge Cultural cell Zone-Jib Jyoti and technical support was provided by Dr.Dushyant.

The event was organised on the directions of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu with the aim to provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent.

The participants included the students of different schools of Zone-Jib and Babey. The students presented beautiful dance and song items which were liked by one and all.

The Chief Education Officer  Arvin Kumar Koul appreciated the participants and ‘mentors’ teachers  Usha Rani, Tania Iqbal, Bandana Sharma,  Anjana Kumari , Sarika and ZICC Zone-Babey Hushiar Singh Chouhan for hosting the scintillating program.

He also appreciated the staff of cultural cell Udhampur and Rakesh Singh DICC in particular for having taken such initiatives in the past as well and making the endeavours successful.
