DC Ramban asks SDMs, Tehsildars to inspect working of schools on regular basis  

HOIs asked to ensure adherence to Covid SoPs   

Ramban, Mar 1:   Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today  asked the Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars to inspect the working of schools in their respective jurisdiction, which are reopening for offline classes after winter vacations.

The officers including Chief Education officer, ZEOs and Heads of Institutions  have been directed to  ensure strict adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) by students, staff and school management; attendance of students and staff, screening of students on the entrance gates besides wearing of masks and carrying of vaccination certificate by students above 15 years of age.

The School heads have been further ordered to follow SOPs on reporting about any student with signs of possible Covid infection and to comply with other directions prescribed by the State Executive Committee in the latest orders issued by the Department of DMRRR, Civil Secretariat, J&K.
