Jammu, Feb 25: Government Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Gangyal Jammu today performed the maiden Caesarean operation marking another milestone in its endeavours to provide better patient care.
The surgical team consisted of Consultant Gynaecologist Dr. Amandeep Kaur Anand, Anaesthetist Dr. Amit and Consultant Paediatrician Dr. Virender Bhau. It is pertinent to mention here that O.T of GRGH was recently made functional after which 6 laproligations were done in the Hospital.
As per Medical Superintendent GRGH, henceforth all routine surgeries shall be made available for general public in the hospital, thereby reducing the number of referrals to other hospitals and benefiting the public of the area.
