Director SH Jammu inspects departmental activities

Jammu, Feb 23: Director, Sheep Husbandry, Jammu Krishan Lal today conducted a day long tour, during which he took a detailed review of different activities being undertaken for the welfare of the farming community.

He inspected Govt. Sheep Breeding Farm, Panthal and took detailed review of the various operations including status of lambing and health care of newly born lambs. He also inspected fodder stock and sowing  operations undertaken in the farm during rabi crops.

Further he inspected Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Office Panthal, Sheep Extension Center Panthal and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Office Dansal During the inspection he took stock of the working of the offices and reviewed their functioning and asked the officers/officials to work for the  welfare of Sheep/Goat breeders of the area and to aware the people about employment generating schemes. He also directed for holding regular meetings with the breeders of the areas.
