Srinagar, Feb 22: Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu accompanied by Executive Engineer (RRWD) SMC Asstt. Ex. Engineer (PHE Rural) concerned Ward Officer Ward passed on directions for development of Public Park at Nandipora / Mir Behri , Rainawari during his visit to several places in Srinagar City to take stock of various developmental works.
while visiting Nandipora Mir Behri, Mattu directed the concerned Executive Engineer to prepare a DPR within a weeks time for development of Public Park at Mir Behri on Lake Conservation and Management Authority(LCMA)land after seeking proper and neccescary Noc’s from them.
Mayor interacted with the inhabitants of the place who put forth their several issues before him.
Mattu while hearing out patiently to their issues regarding requirement of various amenities assured them that all the greviances would be resolved in time
The locals of the area hailed Mayor and expressed their gratitude for hearing out and resolving their issues time to time.
He also visited Shanpora Habbak ground where a Cricket Stadium and a High School is coming up and passed on several directions to the concerned for immediate initiation of work .
Mattu earlier visited Meerak Shah Colony to review the ongoing constructional work on protection wall of a Mosque and also took stock of PHE works of Fisherman Colony Habak. .
Mayor directed the concerned officers to accelerate with the works so that the task is completed within stipulated period of time.
