5 injured in Pattan road mishap, 2 critical

All injured shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment

Pattan, Feb 22 : At least five people sustained injuries among whom two are said to be critical in a road mishap near Ranji area of Pattan of Baramulla district on Tuesday.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that five persons were injured after two vehicles suffered head-on collision near Ranji area.

They said that all the injured were evacuated to Pattan Trauma hospital by locals for treatment, where from they were referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment.

Meanwhile, an official said that among the injured person, two are said to be critical.

They have been identified as Shahid Ahamd Wani, Nizam Din Joo, Fayaz Din Joo, Rubeena Bagum and Zahida Bagum—all residents of Keran Kupwara.

The official said that police have registered a case in this regard.
