Ramban, Feb 11: Department of Indian System of Medicine, AYUSH today observed the 6th National Unani Day to mark the birthday of Social Worker and great Unani Scholar, Hakim Ajmal Khan here at Ramban.
The programme was organised by the Department under the aegis of Director, AYUSH Dr. Mohan Singh. District Nodal Officer, AYUSH, Ramban, Dr. Sanjay Chadha presided over the function.
Besides Dr. Sanjay Chadha, several other doctors threw light on the origin and significance of the Unani system of medicine besides remembering the contribution of its founder, Dr.Ajmal Khan.
Meanwhile, ISM doctors of Ramban including Dr. Masood Iqbal Zargar, Nodal Officer, Immunity Booster, Dr Saima Choudhary, Ayurveda, Dr Talat Mehak and Dr Bashir, both of Unani were felicitated in recognition of their exemplary services during the prevailing Covid pandemic.
