DC Kupwara reviews progress of vaccination, PM-JAY Sehat scheme

Kupwara, Feb 5: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of Covid-19 vaccination drive and enrolment of Golden Health Cards and e-SHRAM cards.

It was informed in the meeting that 82.14 percent of the population comprising 48468 children within the age group of 15 to 17 years have been vaccinated in the district till date. It was also informed that 1441520 doses of Covaxin and Covishield have been administered to the target population in the district so far.

Meanwhile, the DC directed the concerned medical officers to work with added dedication and ensure completion of the vaccination target within the stipulated time frame.

The meeting was also informed that 340324 beneficiaries have been registered under the PM-JAY SEHAT scheme against a target population of 694780.

The DC stressed upon the officers to gear up the pace of progress for enrolment of target population under the scheme. He directed them to take all stakeholders on-board for expediting the enrolment process.

ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; CMO Kupwara, Dy. CMO, BMOs and other concerned attended the meeting.
