CISF personnel detained after live rounds found in his baggage at Sgr airport


Srinagar, Feb 05 : A CISF personnel was detained at the Srinagar Airport on Saturday after security personnel recovered two live rounds and one empty cartridge from his baggage.

Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that during screening at the drop gate of the Srinagar Airport, two live rounds and one empty cartridge of INSAS rifle was recovered from the baggage of a CISF personnel, who was immediately detained for questioning.

“The security personnel has been identified as CT Driver Nada of CISF unit PGCL wagoora Puhroo who is currently posted at Nowgam wagoora Pahru,” officials said.

A police official said that he has been handed over to police post Humhama and further investigation has been launched in this regard—(KNO)
