Baramulla drowning incident: 2nd body retrieved from Jehlum

Baramulla, Jan 29, :  The body of Nisar Ahmed Malla who along with his brother Hilal Ahmed Malla had drowned in the river Jehlum while extracting sand at Khawjabagh Baramulla in North Kashmir on Friday was retrieved on Saturday morning.

Yesterday, the body of Hilal Ahmed was retrieved from the river while the body of his brother was still untraceable.

Pertinently, two brothers from Bandipora had drowned after the capsizing of a sand-filled boat yesterday.

After completing all the formalities, the police handed over the body to the family. (KNT)
