VC DDC Kupwara reviews progress of ongoing developmental works

Asks officers for proper awareness of PRA among people

Kupwara, Jan 28: Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today stressed upon the officers to ensure strict adherence to the timelines of different ongoing development works so that people at large could get benefitted under various Rural Development schemes.

The Vice Chairman was addressing a meeting of officers of Rural Development, here today to review the progress of various Rural Development schemes in DDC Constituency Wavoora.

On the occasion, the Vice Chairman directed the officers to expedite the ongoing works under different RDD schemes in the Wavoora constituency to benefit the general public. He impressed upon them for proper awareness of Panchayati Raj Act (PRA) among the people to ensure all round development at grassroots level.

Earlier, the concerned officers briefed the chair about the status of various ongoing developmental works under 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY(R), B2V3 and other allied schemes

ACD Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Shah; AC Panchayats, Shabir Ahmad; BDO Wavoora; JEs and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
