Army organises medical, veterinary camp at Gulabgarh Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Jan 27: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the people of the remote villages, Indian Army under the flagship of Operation Sadbhavana today conducted a Medical & Veterinary camp here at village Gulabgarh.

To reach out and deliver basic essential medical care to the poverty stricken population of Paddar, the camp was conducted with the assistance of district health department & Animal Husbandry department.

A medical team of 04 doctors including one female doctor & a Veterinary doctor assisted in conducting the camp which benefitted 198 males, 146 females, 52 children and 78 cattle heads.

The aim of the event was to provide specialised medical aid to the local population and assist those whose primary source of income is cattle rearing through Medical & Veterinary camp. This initiative of the Indian Army, held with due adherence to COVID-19 protocols, was lauded by one and all.
