73rd REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED IN POLICE DISTRICT SOPORE.

Sopore, 26 Jan:73rd republic day was celebrated in Police District Sopore with great fervor wherein tricolor was unfurled at each Police Station/Police establishment and main function was held at Khushal Sports Stadium Sopore, in which BDC Chairperson Sopore Dr. Farida Khan, as chief guest unfurled the National Flag and inspected the Parade.

Suprintendent of Police Sopore Shri. Sudhanshu Verma-IPS, DySP HQRS, DySP DAR and SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Ameen Bhat-JKPS besides other senior officers of civil administration/ Police Department and Para military were present on the occasion.

The parade was commanded by Insp. Ishfaq Ahmad and the march past was presented by the Contingents of CRPF, IRP, Sopore Police, JKHG and contingents of students from various schools.

Besides, colorful cultural programmes were presented and awards were given to the best performers by the chief guest.

Good number of people witnessed the function as elaborate security arrangement were made by the Sopore Police in this behalf.
