4 cattle charred to death in overnight blaze in Shalimar Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 17 : Three cows and a calf were charred to death in an overnight fire incident at Dodh Mohalla area of Shalimar in Srinagar city.

Reports reaching GNS said that cowshed belonging to Farooq Ahmad Rather at Shalimar suddenly caught fire during last night which rapidly engulfed the whole structure. In the incident his three cows and a calf were charred to death.

“However, the cause of fire was not yet known,” reports added.

Meanwhile, the affected owner has appealed the administration to provide him due compensation for his survival.
