Pak national ‘inadvertantly’ crosses over, to be repatriated: BSF Jammu Frontier

Jammu, Jan 15 : Alert troops of Border Security Force on Saturday arrested a Pakistan national from Ballad post in Samba sector of Jammu region.


A BSF spokesman from Jammu Frontier said that one Pak national crossed over inadvertently to India on Balhad border this afternoon at about 1300 hrs.
“He came about 200 metres inside India. Our alert troops apprehended him,” he said, adding that on preliminary questioning, it was found that he crossed inadvertently.

He will be handed back to Pakistani Rangers on proper receipt through a flag meeting after completing formalities, said the spokesman, adding that he belongs to border area of Shakargarh tehsil in Pakistan.
