JDI-Kashmir reviews Republic-Day arrangements

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 11: The Joint Director Information, Kashmir, Inam-Ul-Haq Siddiqui, today, presided over an officers meeting here, to review the arrangements being put in place by the Information Department on the occasion of celebration of Republic Day-2022.

The Joint Director said that the Department has an important role in this national event and directed the officers to mobilize all available resources to ensure that the arrangements to be put in place by the department are adequate and foolproof.

He stressed on the officers to ensure strict adherence to Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and related SOPs while organizing cultural programmes in their respective districts.

He directed the DIOs to remain in close coordination with their Deputy Commissioners for smooth conduct of the R-Day function besides, ensure wide publicity of the event.

Earlier, the officers briefed the chair about the programmes to be presented on the occasion in their respective districts besides installation of Public Address System and coverage of the national event.

Assistant Director Advt., joined the meeting in person while Assistant Director Information, PR/ FPO, Kashmir; District Information Officers of (DIOs) Budgam, Baramulla, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag/ Kulgam, Bandipora/ Kupwara joined the meeting virtually.
