J&K: Restaurant gutted in fire in Srinagar
Srinagar, Jan 10: A Nirula’s restaurant was gutted in a devastating fire in Srinagar’s prominent shopping Mall last night, the fire and emergency service office said on Monday.
The fire broke out at 2.07 am in Nirula Restaurant at Sangarmal city centre and spread threatening other nearby buildings. However, the fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames before it could engulf other structures, they said.
The exact loss of the property and the cause of fire is being ascertained, they added.
