Punjab to probe PM security breach

Chandigarh, Jan 6: The Punjab government has set up a high-level committee to carry out a through investigation into the major breach in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security when he was on his way to the border district of Ferozepur by road.

An official spokesperson said here on Thursday that the panel would be led by Justice (Retd) Mehtab Singh Gill and include Anurag Verma, the Principal Secretary (Home). The committee will submit its report within three days after studying what lapses led to the security breach on Wednesday.
