Weekly Block Diwas held in Ganderbal 

Pension Booklets, Golden cards distributed among beneficiaries

Ganderbal, Dec 29: Weekly Block Diwas was today held at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat Ganderbal which was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Pir Muzafar Ahmad.

During the Block Diwas proceedings, PRIs and   various public deputations of Block Sherpathri called upon the ADDC and raised their demands of public importance.

ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, ACP, Ex. En. R&B, and other District officers were present during Block Diwas proceedings.

The issues raised by the PRIs and individuals include uninterrupted supply of electricity, augmentation of Healthcare facilities, development of Roads, upgradation of transformers and other related issues.

The ADDC gave a patient hearing to the demands and grievances raised and assured that all genuine issues would be forwarded to the concerned departments for early redressal.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that necessary instruction is already given to the line departments for early resolution of issues pertaining to their respective departments and are directed for ensuring prompt and speedy redressal of the possible issues raised during the Block Diwas programs as per their competence.

Later, Pension Booklets and Golden Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries.
