Ambala, Dec 27: Five people were killed and 10 injured in a major accident near Healing Touch Hospital on Ambala-Delhi highway in the district on Monday morning.
According to the information, three tourist deluxe buses going from Katra to Delhi collided at early morning. People, along with the police, pulled out the passengers trapped in the bus after struggle.
Police said all the passengers were sleeping at the time of the accident. When the front bus stopped suddenly, both the rear buses collided with it. Although all the three buses were plying
on the side of the highway, so the traffic continued on the highway even after the major accident.
