IGP Kashmir visits family of cop who was killed in Bijbehra

Srinagar, December 24: Inspectors General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Friday visited family of late ASI Mohd Ashraf Dar at Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Dar was killed in a militant attack couple of days ago at Bijbhera in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

Accompanied by other Police officers, the IGP offered condolences to the family and assured them all help from the police department.

Meanwhile sources told GNS that the IGP is likely to take stock of the security situation in the South Kashmir district with police and officers of other security agencies.
