Srinagar, Dec 18 : A PDD lineman who fell from an electric poll at Rajpora area of Pulwama district died after battling for life for 11 days at a hospital here on Saturday, officials said.
A father of five daughters and a son, the 50-year-old lineman identified as Bashir Ahmad of Yusmarg died at SMHS Hospital here on Saturday morning, they said. He was admitted to the hospital after falling from an electric pole at Sikloo Rajpora in Pulwama district. He remained in ICU for all these days before succumbing to the injuries, they said.
A doctor at SMHS hospital here confirmed to GNS the death of Bashir Ahmad and said that he had serious head injury.
