Clean Anantnag campaign launched

Hoardings, Posters removed from Chinars

ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 17: As a part of clean Anantnag Campaign, District Floriculture Officer Anantnag organized a Chinar clearance drive today in various parts of Anantnag and removed all hoarding from the Chinar trees.

The floriculture officer said that on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, the department has launched the drive to remove all the hoardings and banners from Chinars in the district. He said the public has hailed the department for the step as pasting banners and notices on Chinars. He said if any person is found involved in such defacement of public property a legal action will be initiated against him.

It is in place to mention that DC Anantnag has launched the Clean Anantnag campaign recently to curb rampant defacement of public property in the district.
