Achievements by banks in credit disbursal reviewed at Ang

ANATNAG, DECEMBER 15:-Additional district development commissioner Anantnag Bashir Ahmed wani today reviewed the progress/target achievements of banks for the current financial year with regards to credit disbursal. ADDC while reviewing the target achievements of various banks of Anantnag stressed upon them to expedite the lending process of loans to the interested persons. While interacting with the representatives of various banks of the district, ADDC said that banks have to play a vital role in overall development of the economy and banks must prioritize lending.

During the meeting, credit facilitation under various self employment schemes was also reviewed. It is in place to mention that Dist Administration has been regularly reviewing the credit disbursal by banks and Deputy Commissioner Anantnag has advocated a zero tolerance policy towards unnecessary delays on this account.

The meeting was attended by LDM, CHO, CAO, CAHO, CSHO, Bank heads besides various representatives of line departments.
