Air quality continue to remain 'poor' in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 9: Delhi’s air quality continued to remain in the ‘poor’ category for the second consecutive day on Thursday, the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) data showed.

According to the SAFAR, the overall air quality index (AQI) was clocked at 256.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its forecast said, the air quality is likely to deteriorate further in the next two days, but will remain in the poor category.

On Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degree Celsius, a notch below the normal.

As per the weather department, the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 24 degree Celsius.
