Residential house gutted in Gbl fire incident

Ganderbal, Dec 03 : A residential house was partially gutted in a fire incident that broke out in Hariganiwan Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Friday evening.

Reports reaching the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Quresha, wife of Late Muhammad Rafiq Kasana.

The firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby localities, witnesses said, adding that the residential house suffered partial damage.

One of the relatives of the fire victim told KNO that the property worth lakhs of rupees got damaged in the blaze.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, an official, meanwhile, said.

Meanwhile, the local villagers urged the administration to compensate the losses of the downtrodden family at the earliest.

Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and has started investigation into the matter—(KNO)
