If voted to power, SP govt in UP will work for all castes: Akhilesh

Lalitpur, Dec 2 : Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday made it clear that his party’s government in future will work for all caste and communities without any discrimination.

The former CM promised that if his party comes to power in the state then there would be caste census. “SP will go for caste-based census and will ensure that all the castes get their share as per their population,” he said.

He said SP government will also reveal the conspiracy hatched by the BJP in denying the caste census.

“You will find a new SP government in 2022 who will work for all of you without any bias,” he said while slamming the BJP for trying to create confusion in the minds of the people about SP only working towards the uplifting of one particular caste.

He said the Samajwadi Party was committed towards respecting the rights of all the people in the state. Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a public rally here during his Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra.

Claiming that the people of the state had made up their minds to ouster the BJP from UP, he said the countdown for BJP has started.

Alleging the BJP is a party of “only announcing promises and inaugurating the works done by others”, he said the BJP regime has pushed the state into backwardness.
