Mission Youth: DLIC Shopian approves 36 cases under Mumkin scheme

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 30: In its 4th meeting, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Shopian approved 36 new cases for providing commercial vehicles to unemployed youth of the district under Mumkin Scheme.

 

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani and attended by other members including GM DIC Tanveer Majid, AD DE&CC Majid Tantray, ARTO Moazzam Ali and Lead Bank Member.

OSD Mission Youth Mohammad Shafait, DIO Showkat Ahmad Khan, AD Planning Touseef Ahmad, JEO Tanvir Ahmad and CCO Aamir Hussain were also present in the meeting.

After threadbare discussion, the DLIC approved 36 fresh cases under the said scheme taking the total number of cases approved to 144. 50 vehicles have been delivered providing self employment to 100 youth. Mission Youth has contributed Rs. 38.40 Lakh as subsidy component.

Mumkin scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme commercial vehicles are provided to them on subsidised rates.

Mission Youth contributes Rs. 80000 or 10% of on road price of vehicle (whichever is lower) and equal discount by scheme partner (Manufacturer).
