Ali Sports Academy lifts Kashmir Kabaddi Gold Cup

BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 30: The Kashmir Kabaddi Gold Cup tournament concluded on Tuesday with Ali Sports Academy lifting the cup in the final match.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Parvez Rahim was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away prizes among winners and runner-up teams.

The final match was played between the host team SK Bala and Ali Sports Academy. Ali Sports defeated the hosts in a thrilling match and lifted the title.

Officials said 18 teams participated in the tournament. Speaking on the occasion ACR hailed the youngsters for taking keen interest in sports. He said the youth of Bandipora have showcased their talent at international level and have become guiding forces for other youth who spoil their leisure time.

He said sports is the best activity to do in order to keep body and mind fit besides being a means to  stay away from anti-social activities including drugs.
