Constitution Day celebrated at High Court of J&K, Ladakh at Srinagar, DCCs of Kashmir

Justice Sanjeev Kumar led the reading of Preamble

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 26: The Constitution Day was today celebrated at the High Court of J&K and Ladakh at Srinagar Wing and the event commenced with reading of Preamble to commemorate the adoption of the constitution.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh led the reading of Preamble in presence of Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Justice Sanjay Dhar and Justice Javed lqbal Wani.

Among others, Judicial officers including Registrar Judicial, Joint Registrar (Inspection), as well as other officers of the Srinagar Wing viz: Registrar (Administration), Additional Registrar and Secretaries to  Judges were also present on the occasion.

Similar functions to observe Constitution Day were also held at District Court Complexes (DCCs) of Kashmir.

At Anantnag: The Chairman District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Anantnag read the preamble which was repeated by all the judicial officers & officials of the Districts.

All attendees resolved to uphold the constitutional principles as are enshrined in the preamble.

At Shopian: To mark the adoption of Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian today celebrated Constitution Day at District Court Complex Shopian under the Chairmanship of Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Shopian, Riyaz-Ul-Haq Mirza.

The Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Shopian Riyaz-Ul-Haq Mirza, read out the Preamble of the Constitution. He stated that the Constitution is the ultimate Law of our Nation which provides a framework, set of Rules, Laws and Regulations that guides a Country’s administration.

The programme was attended by Judicial Officers, Public Prosecutors, Advocates, Litigants, Staff Members and Para Legal Volunteers.

At Kupwara: Preamble reading ceremony was held in District Court Complex Kupwara which was presided over by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Tasleem Arief.

Sub Judge, Muzamil Wani; Lawyers, officers and employees of the court participated in the ceremony.
