Sports Council beats University Blues in the Interdepartmental Tournament

Srinagar, Nov 16: In the ongoing interdepartmental tournament organised by University of Kashmir, the J&K Sports Council defeated University Blues by 47 runs.

Riding on the swashbuckling performance of Abid Nabi who hit unbeaten 124, Sports Council piled up 188 for the loss of 1 wicket in allotted 20 overs.

In reply University Blues scored 141 for the loss of 9 wickets. Tariq and Faisal bagged 3 wickets each and helped Sports Council to reach the second stage of the tournament.

Congratulating the team, Secretary J&K Sports Council hoped that the team would give their best performance in the matches to follow.
