COVID-19 : HP records 125 new cases, three more deaths and 127 recoveries

Hamirpur (HP), Nov 13:Himachal Pradesh recorded 125 new cases of COVID-19 while three patients succumbed to the virus, said a spokesman of the HP Health Department in its latest update.

All the three fatalities were reported from the Kangra district.

The spokesman told UNI today that 127 older cases were also cured and the number of active cases in the state currently stand at 1,123.

He said that in total, 8,395 samples were tested on Friday out of which 125 were found infected.

The spokesman added that the number of total confirmed cases in the state has now gone up to 2, 25,589 and that the number of total cured cases stand at 2, 20,663.

The spokesman said that the number of total fatalities has increased to 3,786 which is a matter of serious concern for all.

He appealed to people to abide by the Covid-19 guidelines and also take an active part in the second dose of the vaccine.

The spokesman said that the department had decided to approach the PRI functionaries for encouraging people to take part in the mass vaccination drive under which the government is all set to complete the vaccination target by November 30th.
