45-yr-old woman killed by Bear in Anantnag’s Ashmuqam

Anantnag, Nov 12 : A 45-year-old woman was mauled to death by a bear in Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.

Official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the woman identified as Muneera Banoo (45) wife of Muhammad Shabaan Ahanger was attacked and grievously injured by the bear in his native village of Diyaroo.

Soon the locals shifted her to nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival—(KNO)

Woman injured in bear attack in Sopore

Srinagar, Nov 12: A 25-year-old woman was injured in an attack by bear in Hardushiva area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Official sources told GNS that the woman was on way to teach at a nearby area when suddenly she was attacked by the bear and injured. Later locals rushed her to Sub District Hospital Sopore.
A police officer said that a case has been registered. (GNS)
