Director RDD visits Ganderbal, reviews physical & financial progress of various schemes 

 

Ganderbal, Nov 6: Director, Rural Development (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahamd Zargar today visited district Ganderbal  where he reviewed the physical and financial progress of various RDD schemes in a meeting with the Officers.

The meeting was attended by ACD Ganderbal, Bilal Mukhtar, ACP, Executive Engineer (REW) Ganderbal, BDOs, AEEs and other concerned.

Director, RDD Kashmir reviewed the status of various flagship programmes including Capex Budget (CD &Pyt Sector), Construction of DDC/BDC Offices, B2V works, MGNREGA, PMAY-G and 14th FC.

During the meeting, ACD briefed the director about the current status of various developmental works under execution approved under various schemes in the district.

While reviewing progress on construction of DDC/BDC Offices in the district, the director directed ACD to expedite the execution on priority as per approved design and adhering to all the codal formalities.

Speaking in the meeting, the director emphasized on regular organizing of Gram Sabhas and PRIs shall actively involved in the developmental activities. He also urged for making general public  aware about the guidelines and benefits of the RDD Schemes under implementation and redressal of public grievances on priority.

Furthermore, the director emphasized to ramp up the pace of work so that the target is achieved within stipulated timeframe. 

He also directed the BDOs and other associated functionaries to conduct field visits in their respective areas for monitoring the quality and standard of ongoing works.
