PM Modi reaches Naushera to celebrate Diwali with soldiers

Jammu, Nov 4 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning reached the Naushera sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district to celebrate Diwali with Army personnel.

Prime Minister will be celebrating the festival of Deepawali with Indian soldiers in the forward areas of Naushera.

Earlier, he arrived at Jamuu technical airport from where he left for Naushera.In 2019 too, Prime Minister celebrated the festival with the jawans in Rajouri district.

Top Army Commanders are also accompanying the Prime Minister.They will also be briefing the Prime Minister on security scenario.

Chief of Army Staff General M M Naravane on Wednesday arrived at Rajouri and visited the forward areas. He also reviewed prevailing security situation along the border.

Notably, the counter insurgency operation in Bhatadurian forested area of Mendhar in Poonch have entered the 25th day on Thursday.
