Sopore teenager qualifies NEET with flying colors, scores 683 marks

Says consistency, hard-work key to success

Sopore, Nov 02 : Setting an example of how hard work pays off, 18-year-old, Mir Tawqeer Jamsheed of Goripora Bomai area of Sopore in north Kashmir has scored 683 marks out of the total 720 in the recently declared National Eligibility Entrance Test 2021 exam.

Confident of securing good score in the NEET 2021, the teenager used to study religiously for ten hours on a daily basis to qualify the examination.

Tawqeer has done his primary as well as secondary schooling from a private school Unique Educational Institute in his locality.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) he said that he did his coaching for NEET from Kashmir Institute of Excellence – KIE in Parreypora area of Srinagar.

“My coaching began right after I finished my matriculation. It was my first attempt and I made it through. I was motivated to pursue the examination due to unconditional support of my parents and teachers. They always believed that I have the required potential,” he said.

Tawqeer’s father, Mohammed Ashraf, a government teacher by profession said that his son indeed worked very hard and had made everyone in the family proud.

Tawqeer advised the NEET aspirants and students to work hard as their is no short cut to success other than hard work.

“Consistency is key as preparing for an examination is not an overnight job. One needs to put in a lot of hard work,” he said. (KNS)
