Five killed in a collision between two bikes in Garhwa

Garhwa, Oct 28 (UNI) At least five people were killed on Thursday in a collision between two bikes on Garhwa-Ambikapur road (NH-343) here in Jharkhand.

Three persons died on the spot, while two others succumed to their injuries while being treated at the hospital.

The condition of one of the injured was stated to be out of danger.

Garhwa Civil Surgeon Kamlesh Kumar said among the deceased two were identified as Vijay Pratap Mehta and Suresh Prasad Mehta, while process was on to ascertain the identity of the other victims.

Eyewitnesses said a total of six men were travelling on two bikes and both the vehicles coming from opposite directions ended up colliding with each other resulting in the accident.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
