Vigilance Awareness Week commences in J&K Anti Corruption Bureau

Srinagar:27 Oct: Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from October 26th– November 1st , 2021 across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The observance of the week commenced with officers and officials of ACB taking the integrity pledge which was administered by Sh. Anand Jain, IPS at ACB headquarters. The pledge at ACB branches at Jammu and Srinagar were also organized by the respective Branch SSsP. The Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs) also organized the pledge ceremonies in their respective departments.

Vigilance awareness week is observed every year as a part of the multi pronged approach to encourage stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention and fight against Corruption. This is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (31st October) falls.

To raise awareness on Vigilance, ACB will undertake various programs like lectures in offline/online mode, webinars and other related activities. Banners and posters will also be displayed across UT for spreading awareness. The DVOs will also organize such programmes in their respective departments.
