TMC delegation meets Sidhi Naik's family in Goa

Panaji, Oct 25 (UNI) A Trinamool Congress delegation met family members of Sidhi Naik, a teenaged girl who was found dead in mysterious circumstances in August this year.

Former Union Minister Babul Suprio, MPs Derek O Brien, Mahua Moitra, Saugata Roy and TMC National Vice-President Luizinho Faleior were part of the delegation.

Sidhi Naik, a teenaged girl, was found dead on Calangute Beach in August this year after she went missing. The death was declared a suicide. However, her family rejected the claim and lodged a complaint of murder at Calangute Police Station in North Goa. It had claimed that the case was not being investigated properly. Following her death two silent protests were held. Recently her birth anniversary was observed lighting candles.
