Indian Twitteratis say KL Rahul was dismissed of a no-ball

Bengaluru, Oct 25 (UNI) In a historic match yesterday, Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi bamboozled Indian batsmen with his fiery spell and sent their fans into a frenzy, but the Indian fans were left disappointed with the poor umpiring at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match.

The very first ball that Afridi bowled in the third over of Indian innings, was an absolute peach of a delivery. The ball went through the gap between bat and pad and shattered Rahul’s timbers.

But then, the Indian fans noticed Afridi overstepping and the ball that dismissed Rahul was actually a no-ball. The third umpire, unfortunately did not notice it and Rahul had to walk back to the hut without realising that he actually was not out.

On noticing this umpiring glitch, the Indian fans took to Twitter and other social media platforms and vent their ire against the umpire.

Several fans questioned the senseless and stupid umpiring and others called the third umpire blind. Rathore Singh Puspanit, a Twitter user, said, “Look at this the wicket of @klrahul11 no ball clearly…senseless umpiring.”

Shiv Sharma, another user, said, “Stupid umpiring in this crucial match is not accepted… Blind to see No Ball we lost Rahul #icc #ICCT20WorldCup #INDvPAK #KLRahul #ViratKohli #SanjayManjrekar.”

Some others questioned why this incident was not being discussed on prime time news channels. Ankit Yadav said why nobody is talking about the no-ball.

Keerthi Forever Shakshi pointed out “No ball umpire is sleeping.” Another user – Latifur Raheman said “what’s happening ICC. Its clearly a no ball.”

Hari Babu Kamath said, “Disappointing match from Indian team. But one no Ball was not given by umpire KL Rahul was not out.”
