Seizing bikes, snapping Internet of some towers due to militancy related incidents, Nothing related to upcoming visit of HM: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, October 21: Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Thrusday said that seizing some bikes or shutting down Internet of some towers is purely related to militancy related incidents.

Kashmir Zone Police while quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar wrote, “Seizing some bikes and shutting down of internet of some towers is purely related to militancy violences. It has nothing to do with visit of the Hon’ble HM: IGP Kashmir”, reads the tweet.

It’s pertinent to mention that frisking and seizing of two wheelers have been intensified after recent civilian killings in Srinagar.(GNS)
