Amit Shah flags off Modi Van to mark 20 years of PM in public office

New Delhi Oct 19 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off “Modi Van” under BJP ‘Seva hi Sangthan’ on Tuesday from his New Delhi residence, to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 20 years in public office.

The five ‘Modi Vans’ will operate across Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh under the aegis of Kaushambi Vikash Parishad, which is run by BJP Lok Sabha MP and National Secretary Vinod Sonkar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 7 completed 20 years in public office. On this very day, Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He served more than 12 years as the Gujarat CM, before becoming the 14th Prime Minister of India in 2014.

Talking to UNI after flagging of the van, BJP MP Vinod Sonkar said, these vans will help to provide health services and also help in promoting vaccination against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in remote villages.

“It will also help in preparing Ayusham cards for the Universal Health Insurance Scheme (PMJY). The van also has telemedicine, as well as machines that can test 39 blood samples at one go,” he said.
