Amit Shah to hold meeting with police chiefs of all states on security issues

Jammu and Kashmir has been, is and will always remain an integral part of India

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a meeting with police chiefs of all states on Monday to discuss security and coordination issues. The meeting will start at 2 pm and continue till 10 pm.

Last month, Amit Shah met top officials from 10 states affected by Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) to review the security situation and progress of development projects.

Chief Ministers Uddhav Thackeray of Maharashtra, Hemant Soren of Jharkhand, K Chandrashekar Rao of Telangana, Nitish Kumar of Bihar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh, and Naveen Patnaik of Odisha attended the meeting. West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Kerala were represented by top officials.
