Anantnag, Oct 6 (UNI) A youth died after slipping from a tree in this south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Wednesday, official sources said.
They said 31-year-old identified as Showkat Ahmad Sheikh was cutting branches of a tree at village Breenti in Anantnag when he suddenly slipped and fell on the ground. He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings, they added.
