DC Srinagar hands over Rs 1.25 lakh Ex-gratia to the NoK of Militancy incident victim of Lal Bazar

SRINAGAR OCTOBER 06:- The District Administration Srinagar on Wednesday provided an Ex-gratia relief of Rs. 1.25 lakh to the Next of Kin (NoK) of a street vendor Virendar Paswan of Baghulpur Bihar, who became victim of Militancy related incident on October 05, 2021 at Lal Bazar, Srinagar.

The Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad handed over the relief cheques of Rs One lakh under SDRF and Rs 25 thousand under Red Cross fund to the Putul Devi, wife of the deceased street vendor.

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr. Syed Hanief Balkhi and Tehsildar Eidgah, Ishfaq Ahmad were also present.

DC further said further financial assistance shall be provided to the family over next few days.
