02 absconders arrested after 12 years in Budgam:Police


Budgam, October 01: Two persons were arrested who were absconding since twelve years in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.

In statement to GNS, the police said that Budgam Police continuing its efforts to act against those evading their arrest, today arrested 02 absconders who were evading arrest since 12 years.

The statement further states that acting on a tip-off about the presence of the accused absconders at a specified location, a police team headed by incharge Police Post Soibugh arrested the absconders at Soibugh Budgam.

The accused have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Ganie Son of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Hajibagh Soibugh and Manzoor Ahmed Kumar son of Salaam Kumar resident of Sanoor Magam.

The accused were involved in many FIRs registered against them in various Police stations of the district and will be produced before Hon’ble court of law, concludes the statement.
