Youth fall into gorge while cutting grass in Poonch, dies

Poonch, Sept 24(GNS): An 18-year-old youth was killed after he suddenly fell down in a deep gorge while cutting grass at Chapprian area of Poonch district on Friday.

Official sources told GNS that Showkat Hussain (18) son of Bashir Ahmed Kholi of Sawjian fell into around 40-ft gorge at Chapprian while he was cutting green grass. He suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to PHC Sawjian for treatment.

However doctors declared him dead on arrival. A police officer confirmed the incident to GNS
